With a 10 horse maximum, you can be confident we will tend to every detail of your horse's care. Our stable and riding areas are private and peaceful. We offer a truly unique experience with 24 hour access to a paved and gated private entry, daily turn out, horse safe fencing, an alarm system in each stall, automatic waterers, 12x12 stalls, a 12x14 foaling stall with hot and cold water, a washer & dryer, a restroom, a kitchenette, a round pen, and riding lessons. We keep our grounds and stable impeccable, offering you peace of mind regarding the care of your horse and riding pleasure. Please email or call me to schedule a tour. Barfknecht Stables is located in the city limits of Lewisville. We have 3 levels of care. Full care, partial care, and self care. Our horses are turned out daily to pasture and put in a 12x12 oak lined stall every evening. We also offer individual pens and stalls with runs. The Stables has a round pen, lighted sandy arena, lighted night riding area, locked tack rooms, saddling areas, concrete wash stall, security lights for night arrival, open 24 hours 7 days week, management lives at front entrance, trailer parking, picnic area, bathroom, and wooded riding trails.
Barfknecht Saddle Shop offers custom - one of a kind - saddles, tack, wallets, purses, belts, phone cases, gun leather, chaps, notebooks, photo albums, home decor, stool tops, placemats, and coasters. Hand tooled or your personal brand.

The barn has automatic water system, hot/cold water, and tack rooms. Outside, we have a 60ft round pen and a 100x200 riding arena. Our fences are electric and pipe fences. A full time care taker and trainer lives on the property. Full boarding and pasture; all of our pastures are divided.
Our rates as of Dec 2010 are:
- Full Care $350
- Pasture $200 (We provide the hay, and you provide the feed.)
- We also offer training and lessons. Lessons are $45/hour; Training is $650/month (includes full care board).
Lessons include:
- English: English pleasure, dressage, and jumping.
- Western: Western pleasure, basic trail, reining, and barrels.
Training can include:
- English: Beginning, dressage, and jumping.
- Western: Trail riding, reining, and barrels.
