What sets us apart from other therapeutic and traditional riding programs?

* Superior Horses
Quality horses - we do not rely on donations but carefully handpick our horses based on temperament and talent.

* European Philosophy/Riding Model
While safety is always our first priority, our second focus is on helping students reach their FULL potential with regard to social skills, IEP goals, academics, and athletics. We do this by first teaching the skills set that is necessary for riding and then working to generalize those concepts in everyday activities.

* Therapeutic Instruction
Advantage does not merely instruct students in the basics of riding. We require that all instructors be MA licensed educators with significant experience working with special needs populations. This allows us to work with all the client's service providers to incorporate, support, and apply learning objectives and strategies used by teacher and parents.

Over 25 years of teaching experience. A holistic approach to both horse and rider integration. Specializing in flatwork; focusing on both rider and horse physiology to enhance combined performance. Helping rider to overcome fears and blocks to succeed in overall performance. Focus on correcting rider's position.

We believe in holistic management in horses, trying to work with their natural herd mentality. During good weather, we have our horses spend as much time in our large open fields in the herd as possible. This is beneficial for their overall well-being, because social group interaction is very important to a happy and healthy horse. Farrier on the premise, who has 30+ years of corrective shoeing and trimming experience to perfect a horse's balance. Massage therapist is readily available.
