A Solid Foundation believes that every horse has potential to be great. Yet, every horse is very different. Each horse is treated as an individual, with respect, kindness, and a steady guiding hand. Horses are trained slowly, according to their individual level of learning. No horse is pushed to the next level until THEY are ready to move on. We believe that a horse should do what is asked of it, not out of fear, but out of respect and a desire to make their rider happy. The main objective of A Solid Foundation is to tap into "what makes them tick" and help the horse build on those qualities and pass that on to the owner so both of you have the confidence to be successful no matter what you choose to do.
