Welcome to DR Show Horses! DR Show Horses training & showing center is home to Devon Rose Michalik, owner and trainer. We are located 45 minutes east of Austin, just minutes from Smithville, Texas. We are 30 minutes from ABIA International Airport and Travis County Expo Center. DR Show Horses is centrally located and is only a few miles from highways 71, 21, and 290.
Our program includes Quarter Horses, Paints, and Appaloosas. Our passion and focus is on halter and pleasure horses. Training halter, English, and western pleasure, whether it involves starting a young futurity prospect or "re-making" a seasoned veteran.

Horseback riding lessons and birthday parties.
I operate a small Western riding program in the beautiful Lost Pines area of Bastrop, 5 miles from Bastrop State Park off of Hwy 21. My students' ages have ranged from 6 to 60. I focus on safety, helmets are provided, and references are available.
I offer lessons for beginner riders using my lesson horse Bertha. I have had her for 9 years, and she is an American Quarter Horse. She is 17 years old and is very patient with beginners.
