This online continuing education program contains 13 intensive practitioner-based lessons and 9 labs providing participants with the biological basis for making decisions related to horse production management. The material presented is introductory to intermediate in nature. Content includes DVDs by L&H Branding Irons. Participants should have a general knowledge of horses and experience riding and caring for horses. This program is RACE-approved. The United States Dressage Federation (USDF) approves this course for University Credit.

This course is offered through the Continuing and Professional Studies Office (CAPSO) at Texas A&M University.

Foundations of Hippotherapy is an online continuing education that focuses on the basic foundations of Hippotherapy, or "treatment with the help of the horse." Foundations of Hippotherapy is 50 professional development hours and the participant earns 5.0 CEUs. An internship, research, and ethics is also available in the Hippotherapy track, which is one of four tracks in the Equine Facilitated Activities & Therapy continuing education program offered through the Continuing and Professional Studies Office at Texas A&M University.

Online continuing education. Introduction to Therapeutic Riding provides material regarding the Therapeutic Riding Industry and the variety of service areas in the Industry. It includes the history of the therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, equine facilitated psychotherapy, therapeutic vaulting, therapeutic carriage driving, and competition opportunities for people with disabilities. Intro to Therapeutic Riding is 50 professional development hours and the participant earns 5.0 CEUs. Horse Care is 60 professional development hours and the participant earns 6.0 CEUs. An internship and research component is also available in Horse Care, which is one of four tracks in the Equine Facilitated Activities & Therapy continuing education program offered through the Continuing and Professional Studies Office at Texas A&M University.
