Shepherd's Valley Cowboy Church
Egan, TX
(817) 781-6772

Christian trail ride in north Texas occurring the 2nd weekend of each month. Everyone is invited to join us in a trail ride event, usually somewhere in north Texas. This is a ministry of Shepherd's Valley Cowboy Church, Egan, TX & is noted as one of the best trail ride groups found anywhere.

Please go to the church web site (listed), go to the Horseback Ministries tab, then to Trail Ride Ministry. There you will find the locations & dates we'll be going, along with a list of suggested items to take.

This is family oriented. No drinking or profanity allowed. All trails have been scouted out before taking the complete group & our trail bosses have a minimum of 20 years experience. Most trails are for beginners or intermediate riders. See listing on church web site for information.

Rides are normally from Friday through Sunday with devotion each morning before we ride out.

There is no charge for the events, just the cost of food & entry.

Spicewood, TX 78669
(830) 693-2065
tom@actha.us

Sanctioning organization for CTCs (Competitive Trail Challenges) and registry for trail horses (non-breed specific) who compete in them. One day rides held throughout USA. Horses earn medals and ability designations enhancing their value and stature.

Rides are over a 5-6 mile course with 5-6 judged obstacles. Lots of fun. Prize $$$ for open riders and great prizes for pleasure and junior riders.

Rides mainly sponsored by clubs and horse orgs for fund raising. ACTHA nationally advertises, trains, and supervises staff while supplying endless support via manuals, phone, and DVD's... including live video feed on ride day.

Main theme... honoring the great American Trail Horse. Great fun and uses a great fund raising method! (Dedicated individuals also invited to enquire). Visit our website for more info or call Carrie at 830-693-2065 for a discussion on how you or your horse organization can raise funds and have fun doing it.
