Snapps Creek Stables LLC is conveniently located just north/west of Harrisonburg in the beautiful countryside near Singers Glen, VA. Snapps Creek Stables is approximately 10 minutes from Eastern Mennonite University, 20 minutes from James Madison University, and 25 minutes from Bridgewater College.


Our private facility offers horse boarding and riding lessons. We do not break horses, accept stallions, or offer trail rides or horse rentals by the hour.

Snapps Creek Stables' goal is to create an affordable environment for those owners who truly love interacting with horses and appreciate a nurturing, informal environment.

Snapps Creek Stables is a perfect alternative to the large, intense, expensive, and restrictive environments of the high-end stables. We have no walls of ribbons or trophies, no dress codes (except for helmets and heals), no horses of prestigious bloodlines, and no hoity attitudes. We do have commendable facilities, a friendly atmosphere, and a commitment to non-stop improvements where your input could be instrumental as we plan for the future.
