I offer horse training and riding lessons. I work with horses in a way that they can understand (not forcing them to do things, but letting them work it out in their minds to figure out what I want), building a solid foundation for anything that they might do in the future. I work with lesson students in the same way, teaching them how to work with a horse, starting from the basics, so they can apply what they learn to any horse they work with in the future! We are an active training and riding stable serving all disciplines. Located just 20 minutes from Winston-Salem, we offer personalized training in a serene setting. Our barn has 29 large stalls plus wash stalls, a grooming stall, tack rooms, a riders' lounge, and much more. We have five fenced pastures plus many open pastures and miles of trails spanning more than 80 acres. A large 125'x 225' lighted arena and 60' round pen are at your disposal. Whether you need long term board or are just passing through, we can accommodate you. Our monthly boarders have a 12' x 12' stall, daily turnout (weather permitting), hay, feed, and stall cleaning. The barn is fully heated in the winter, and each stall has a fan for warmer weather.

The barn has 16 stalls, each with a window to the outside. There is a locked tack room for your equipment. Double R has a lighted 60' x 132' indoor arena and an outdoor riding ring. A warm water wash stall is also available.

Right above the stables is our private cottage that has a queen size bed in the master suite and bath. The two additional bedrooms have 2 single beds and share a separate full bath. Relax in the living room and share meals family style in the dining area alongside the fully equipped kitchen. Additional futons allow for extra sleeping areas. There is a washer, dryer, and television so that you can feel like you are at home! The cottage also has a deck.
