Oaklawn Stables is an owner managed equine facility. We are conveniently located directly beside Interstate 270 (Exit 12) and Highway 159 in Glen Carbon, IL. We are 20 minutes east of St. Louis, MO. We have a 19 stall barn with a lighted indoor riding arena. The stalls are large, and each has a window. Some are matted, and some are not. The choice is yours. We use sawdust for bedding. The barn has two tack rooms, a secured feeding room, a heated and cooled viewing room, and a newly remodeled bathroom. We also have an additional barn with 3 stalls and a tack room, which is just a very short walk to arena. Outside, we have a round pen, a wash rack with a concrete pad and cross ties, and two large turnouts. The turnouts are separate for geldings and mares. We also have a very small turnout for any horse that may have special needs and cannot be in with others. We also have a nice patio to relax on and view the horses. Parking is also available for trailers upon approval of owner. There is a small wooded area to ride in; otherwise, riding around the barn area is available.
