A unique riding program designed to teach children how to ride and not just be a passenger. Balanced riding techniques along with natural horsemanship teach the importance of the bond between horse and rider. We emphasis horse safety and care, including grooming, saddling, and bridling in a casual atmosphere.
The program was designed by Shelley Bridges, who has over 40 years' experience. She was a member of the US Equestrian Team and an FEI Silver Medalist, and she taught and trained many horses and riders to the national and international level for the US, UAE, and Japan. She also has a BS degree in Animal Science from UC Davis.

Students are actively showing in non-rated shows through "A" circuit.
We understand that not every horse and rider team wishes to compete. If you are the "weekend warrior" or pleasure rider, we have a program for you. Dressage and Beginning Natural Horsemanship lessons are also available.
Horses may also be placed in our consignment program. Every horse is evaluated to ensure a proper training / sales program is provided. Mallory Schneider has an extensive background in dressage, jumping, and eventing. As a teenager, she competed heavily in jumping and eventing, and in 2007, she switched her focus towards riding dressage professionally. Mallory has been the assistant trainer to the legendary Gail Hoff-Carmona of Los Alamos Dressage Center for the past four years. She continues her education daily with Gail.
Mallory has her USDF bronze medal and in 2009 showed the five year old Lusitano gelding, Zambo and won the United States Dressage Federation All Breed Horse of the Year Award for Pure Andalusian and Lusitano Horses at Training Level (67.306%) and placed 2nd at First Level (64.369%). Mallory continues to compete in dressage competitions all over Southern California. In 2011, she showed the Arabian/ Fresian mare Bella for the first time at Second Level and scored in the 70's. In 2012, Mallory will be showing several horses for her clients through Third and Fourth Level. She enjoys teaching and bringing riders up the levels in dressage, jumping, and eventing, and is available for training, lessons, and sales. Please contact for rates and availability.

Rancho Linda Mio is one of the oldest ranches in the area. Originally owned by renowned trainers Linda and Jack Baker, who were known for making numerous Championship horses on the PCHA Circut and the NRCHA Association. Our riding club is open to all riders and levels of experience. We have lessons in beginning, intermediate, and advanced Western and English. The club atmosphere is fun for the entire family. We strive to be a safe place for our youth to grow and develop their horsemanship skills as well as own self esteem and confidence. Club members will not only be taught to ride but will also learn horsemanship, safety, and horse care. Boarding is available for all our horses as well.
