Lou Don Farm is hosting horseback riding day camps. There are sessions every week from June through August. They run from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Open to ages 5-17. Beginner through advanced riders are welcome. English, western, and jumping is taught as well as gymkhana (games on horseback). Your children will also have the chance to participate in a drill team. There are arts and crafts everyday. Not only will the children learn how to ride, they will also learn about horse safety and care. Campers have the opportunity to see a farrier at work. Some of the sessions have an overnight on the second to the last day of the camp.

We offer summer horse camps, horse riding lessons, training, boarding, clinics and birthday parties with pony rides. Mac's Meadows features riding trails, indoor and outdoor rings, and heated tack and observation rooms. We specialize in hunter jumper training of the horse and rider. Also available: basic training in western and gymkhana. Our training techniques focus on what judges look for, expanding the ability of the equestrian, and strengthening the connection between horse and rider. A family run business since 2001. We offer on site parties for birthdays and other special occasions. Our location is a beautiful country setting west of Kalamazoo in Oshtemo Township. Our packages include pony grooming, pony rides, games, a petting stable, and a party room. You can add on "The Bud Show" or cart rides. We have packages that accommodate 10 children & 10 adults to 25 children & 25 adults. Our parties are a memorable family experience. Costs range from $150-$300 (as of May 2010).

During the summer months, we offer pony and miniature horse camps for children 8 yrs and up. Camps include care, riding, in hand jumping, drill team & more.
