We have a large 14 stall barn with a heated wash stall including hot and cold water, a smaller 4 stall barn, a large 150 X 200 outdoor ring, a 70 X 120 indoor arena with a viewing room, and a secure tack room.
We offer some of the finest care for your horse and a variety of options for their riders. The facility has been carefully laid out to provide maximum safety and utility.
We specialize in instilling strong foundations for beginner through advanced riders from ages 6 to 70. Introducing all to the fundamentals of English riding disciplines and general horse care and behavior. Our advanced students are fine tuned and assisted in acquiring their goals in and out of the show ring. The various disciplines include hunt seat, equitation, dressage, cross country, and stadium jumping.

Megan McIsaac is Lindinhof's head trainer. She is a USDF Silver and Bronze Medalist and is currently enrolled in the USDF Trainers Certification & 'L' judges programs. Megan likes to work with all types of horses and riders and enjoys helping riders find horses that enable them to follow their dreams. Megan and her horse 'No Doubt' competed successfully at Dressage at Devon in 2007. They placed 11th in the I-1 and qualified for the Freestyle. They were also WDCTA’s Grand Champions at PSG & I-1 levels.

LOHR operates a multifaceted 501c3 non profit, providing the Hudson Valley community a variety of benefits. We rescue abused and unwanted horses. The horses that are brought into our rescue facility are guaranteed a permanent and loving home at our horse sanctuary, helping reduce the unwanted horse population in our area. Once evaluated, those horses that are deemed appropriate enter our riding program at the facility. Those horses that are not capable of being ridden are given a permanent home on our 500 acre horse sanctuary. We offer a multilevel riding program ranging from corporate team building events and riding therapy programs to our summer camp & children and teen lesson programs. Since Lucky Orphans opened our barn doors, we have helped many horses find a more promising and meaningful future. It is the goal of LOHR to not only save these wonderful animals, rehabilitating them to sound health and rebuild their trust in people, but also to use their stories of struggle, overcoming adversity, building trust, leadership, and teamwork to foster an understanding and inspiration in children, young adults, and the community. MREC, under the expert management of Jack Polo, now boasts 5 all weather outdoor sand rings and a grass Grand Prix Field!
MREC has 100 permanent outside show stalls available at all times, with approximately 50 other stalls available. The 80' X 200' indoor arena is available to members and non-members on a daily basis until 9:00pm.
MREC plays host to many shows and disciplines all year round, including but not limited to: dressage, show jumping, hunters, horse trials, and combined driving as well as western events such as reining and of course our monthly schooling shows.
MREC also offers lessons with instructors available.
