With two outdoor rings, riders of all ages are taught at novice and also more advanced levels. Friendly, understanding instructors conduct a variety of programs promoting safety and sound riding and horse handling skills in a stress-free environment. With well-schooled horses suited to each person's experience, riders progress confidently in their individualized programs.

At Maverick Horseback Riding, we do lessons on the trail instead of in an arena. It is better for horse and rider, and you can learn just as much if not more while on the trail. We work with riders of all ages and can accommodate riders of all experience levels. We do work with Special Needs individuals as well; we have multiple horses that are trained to work with Special Needs kids and adults. We also provide horse training and breaking. Trail rides are also available for people who just want to have a fun time but don't want to ride regularly.

Meadow Creek Farm's Summer Horsemanship Academy will have equestrians of any level excited to learn at their farm in Pleasant Valley, NY. Owner and instructor Helaina Ricciardi along with Rachel Penny ensure a positive experience for each equestrian camper. Meadow Creek provides a variety of trained horses and ponies to suit any level. Horse owners may also choose to bring their own mount. Academy is in session rain or shine. Indoor and outdoor activities will be planned. Academy begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. Early drop off and late pick up options are also available. Early enrollment specials by April 30th: Buy 3 weeks, get 4th week 1/2 off. Refer a friend and both receive one free riding lesson.
