Gusty Wind Acres Riding School Inc. is a fine horse facility located on a beautiful 200-acre farm. The riding school offers a variety of opportunities for riders and horses. Students or boarders may ride in our 72' x 144' indoor arena, in one of our 4 outdoor sand or grass arenas, or in the scenic woods and fields. The riding school also hosts approximately 4 public horse shows per year in which boarders and students may participate.
Lessons have been taught at Gusty Wind Acres for 30 years. The main goal of our lesson program is to teach out students to safely enjoy the pleasures of horseback riding while having a respect for the happiness and well being of the horse. We offer a variety of programs, including horse camp.
Hunter, dressage, and combined training instruction is provided by our 3 riding instructors. Our head instructor, who has taught for over 30 years, has won numerous honors.

- Windows in most stalls
- Stall doors that allow horses to put their heads out of the stall
- Shavings or Woody Pet Bedding is used
- Automatic fly sprayers in each stall
- Indoor wash stall
- Heated and air conditioned lounge, kitchen, and tack room
- Tack room/ lounge is locked at night to protect your equipment
- 120 X160 outdoor arena
- 60 X 120 indoor arena
- Top of the line safe horse fencing
- 2 small paddocks in case your horse has special needs
