Lessons - Our lesson program focuses on the use of balanced seat equitation, the Dressage training scale, and the incorporation of multiple competitive disciplines in pursuit of well-rounded and confident riders. Both children and adults will develop excellent horsemanship skills as well as a life-long love of horses in any aspect of our Lesson Program, Riders Academy, or Show Team!

Boarding - Your horse will be safe and happy living here in pasture board or in any one of our three stall-boarding options, customizable to suit both you and your horse's needs!

Breeding - Through our ground-breaking Choose Your Spots Appaloosa breeding program, you can rely on us to provide excellent care throughout the pregnancy and into the beginning of your new foal's life!

Internships and Working Students - You will gain hands-on experience maintaining nationally competitive equine athletes through the Working Student Cadre or in one of our internships covering barn management, equine training, and reproduction!

The camp gives kids great exposure to rural living, including picking fruit, fishing, feeding chicks, and riding horses. The technical aspects of horseback riding, such as holding correct posture, proper queuing, learning tack, and horse body language, are introduced. During the heat of the day, all the kids go inside the large art studio and gather around 3 tables to be creative. They work with pastels, watercolors, sculpty clay, beading, mask making, and much more. Each week offers variations on the main art media topics along with down to earth outdoor fun with horses and farm animals. New this year, Tepee Island. Camps in June and July. We offer a wide range of camps from beginner through advanced. In our camps, we learn the basic skills of horsemanship, grooming, bathing, tacking, and riding. Our camps also include swimming, arts and crafts, painting horses, fishing, canoeing, trail riding, equine photography, campfires with s'mores, picnics, and more.

Lessons -
Our lesson program at Fair Winds Farm is designed for the first time rider through the advanced level. Instructors are experienced in dressage, eventing and hunter/jumper. Our goal is a friendly, stress-free environment that creates safe and happy horses and riders. We participate in shows, clinics, and inspections and are happy to coach our students, but showing is not required. We offer private lessons all throughout the week and weekend.

Trail Rides -
A guided tour of Fair Winds Farm along the beautiful shores of Back Bay. You can meet our visiting ospreys, blue herons, cattle egrets, killdeers, and bald eagles.
