At Kinni Valley, we believe that riding camp is all about three things: fun, safety, and knowledge. Focusing on safety and confidence, riders participate in a concentrated horse experience in English and western equitation, horse care, safety, and miles of trail rides along the scenic Kinnickinnic River. Each day, boys and girls ages 8-18 of all levels of experience enjoy hours in the saddle under the care of our professional instructors. Camps are grouped according to age and ability to assure productive learning.

LOHR operates a multifaceted 501c3 non profit, providing the Hudson Valley community a variety of benefits. We rescue abused and unwanted horses. The horses that are brought into our rescue facility are guaranteed a permanent and loving home at our horse sanctuary, helping reduce the unwanted horse population in our area. Once evaluated, those horses that are deemed appropriate enter our riding program at the facility. Those horses that are not capable of being ridden are given a permanent home on our 500 acre horse sanctuary. We offer a multilevel riding program ranging from corporate team building events and riding therapy programs to our summer camp & children and teen lesson programs. Since Lucky Orphans opened our barn doors, we have helped many horses find a more promising and meaningful future. From the most timid to most confident rider, our program has something to offer those that want to take their horsemanship to the next level. Lessons can be taken on your own horse or a school mount. There is no trailering in fee for those that want a lesson on their own back yard horse. Instructor is a Connected Riding Practitioner. We also offer summer programs. Pony camps for 4-6 yr olds; day camps for 7-12 yr olds; and teen camps for 13-17 yr olds. For those that have lives that do not allow for weekly lessons, but still want to connect with horses, we also offer "Night Out at the Ranch" for those of you that are not able to spent time with horses on a regular basis.
