Showmanship, trail (competitive or recreational), western pleasure/horsemanship, barrels/poles, and most importantly reining. Colt Starting is on a limited basis, and I only allow no more than 3 horses being started in the same month to insure they receive the care in training they deserve to help them succeed far in life with you.

The Barking Dog Ranch legend started in the 1930's, and today consists of 33 beautiful rolling acres just 15 miles south of Pine Bluff in the community of Woodlawn. We have extensive riding trails through varied terrain, a 60 foot training circle, and a barrel practice area, and we offer both pasture board and stall board with pricing based on the size of your horse and any special needs. We have several instructors with experience ranging from barrel racing to show, and we can arrange weekly lessons and a student program year round for children to adults. Horse training is also available. Negative coggins required.
