Born with horses and cattle. Going on 71 years young, and I have dedicated my lifetime to working with horses. I have spent time on the rodeo circuit doing calf roping, horse shows, and gymkhanas and worked on cattle/horse ranches in the USA and Canada.

We base our training on the horse's needs and abilities. We use our training method to create more harmony and unity between horse and rider.

We have been doing our seminars and clinics privately to our customers only for almost 30 years and now in this past year have decided to go public.

Our training center focuses on working with cattle, all events in team penning, ranch type events, roping, professional barrel racing, trail riding and pleasure riding horses, starting horses, problem solving, trailer loading, and horse shows.

Crosswinds Stables is a full service equine operation offering a quality boarding and horse care facility for fulfilling the needs of horse and rider. We welcome all breeds and all disciplines. The facility is going to offer a complete setup to allow for the utmost safety and enjoyment for clients and their horses, while providing day to day care that allows clients the comfort of knowing their horse is receiving the best treatment.

Crosswinds Stables is a unique community environment catering to all aspects of horse and rider. We will offer general board, conditioning, full-training, and lessons in a variety of disciplines. We have indoor and outdoor arenas. Crosswinds Stables will be situated on an 86 acre retreat of pristine pasture and hardwood bush. It will allow acres of trail riding and general enjoyment.

Comprehensive equine retirement care.

Our goal is to provide complete long-term care for retired horses in a natural, stress-free environment. We have tailored our program specifically to support senior horses during their golden years. Farrier, annual dental, deworming, blanketing, individual feed programs, and administration of meds & supplements are included in our program. Our 80 acre farm is located in Rockwood (close to Fergus and Guelph), and we live on the premises. There are no lesson, training, or breeding programs on our farm. Horses live out 24/7 with access to shelter, grazing, and/or free choice hay, salt, minerals, and water. We may accept only well-mannered geldings.
