We have an exceptional lighted arena for roping and other working cow-horse activities.

* We hold roping practice on Tuesday & Thursday evenings beginning at 6pm till ?
$25 per person / $10 additional per horse.

Whether you have a horse that just needs a tune-up or a young horse that requires slow and steady work in the box... GCR is the place.

* The ranch is also available for "private" training for team-roping, break away, and barrels/poles in a family friendly environment.

* In addition to the activities offered in the arena... for those that have similar interests, we have limited space for boarding horses.

All this in a beautiful, private, and secure setting only 25 minutes northwest of Weatherford.

You have a choice of a large stall or spacious paddock with shelter. These options are available for long or short stays or overnight boarding.

We are a full care facility that offers vet, grooming, and farrier work.

We are experienced horse and cattle people. We care deeply about all of our horses and cattle while enjoying team roping activities.

We are on-site owners who perform daily inspections on all aspects of the facility and are proficient in the care of horses and cattle.

If you visit or have dealings with Glory Creek Ranch, we will make sure your experience is not rushed, show you around leisurely, and patiently answer all your questions to the best of our abilities, and you will leave our ranch with a positive experience.

Our ranch consists of American Curly / Bashkir Curly and Mustang Curly horses. We offer breeding, boarding, lessons, and training. We have 40 acres 30 miles southeast of Dallas and have trail rides. This breed is known to be hypoallergenic and is perfect for the first time riders as well as seasoned horsemen. Our training includes English and western, and we find with the Curly personality, natural horsemanship techniques work best.
